Appearance
Kabutops is a bipedal prehistoric arthropod, armored like a skeleton. Its flat half-circular head has a point on each side, and its arms end in large gray scythes.

Its story
Lifestyle
It was moving onto land as its prey left the water, yet swam at about twenty-nine knots and cut foes to drink their fluids. It evolves from Kabuto.
In the anime
Annie and Oakley revive a giant Kabutops. A Latios drowns it; once revived, it chases Ash and Latias with blank yellow eyes.
Name origin
Its design blends the horseshoe crab, eurypterids, and the trilobite head shield. Kabutops comes from kabuto, meaning helmet.
