Appearance
A light blue quadrupedal dinosaur with a white belly, a long neck, and a short stubby tail. Iridescent sails, yellow then pink, rise above its eyes, and a dark blue crystal marks each flank.

Its story
Lifestyle
It was restored from a Sail Fossil locked in ice over one hundred million years. It is not expected to live long in the present world's heat, and it evolves into Aurorus.
In the anime
Team Rocket captures Amaura just after it is brought back to life. It must be returned in time to the Ambrette Town Fossil Laboratory.
Name origin
Hitoshi Ariga designed it after a young Amargasaurus, a sauropod once thought to bear sails. Amaura may blend Amargasaurus and aurora.
