Appearance
Azumarill is blue and bipedal, with an ovoid body and long rabbit ears, red inside. The lower half is white with a bubble pattern, and a black zigzag tail ends in a blue ball.

Its story
Lifestyle
In water it rolls its ears dry and stays still to spot prey in a wild river. It evolves from Marill and is Azurill's final form, living in rivers all day.
In the anime
Trixie's circus Azumarill becomes a Team Rocket target. Ash's Totodile and Trixie's Golduck both court it, but it returns only Golduck's feelings.
Name origin
It suggests a rabbit mixed with a lifebuoy, and the Easter Bunny. Azumarill may blend azure, azul, mar, Marill, and rill.

- If it sees a Pokémon drowning, it makes an air bubble so they can breathe.
- The blue ball at the end of its tail glows when it attacks or grows excited.
