Though its body is mechanical, Beldum feels emotions. It moves and attacks using magnetism, then evolves into Metang and Metagross.

Morrison's Beldum is usually outside its Poké Ball. It evolves into Metang during a tournament battle against Jump.
Name origin
Beldum may come from dumbbell, said backwards. It is a magnetic robot shaped like a dumbbell, like a limb of Metang or Metagross.
