Lifestyle
It tricks its target with a silly walk, then explodes its head to steal their vitality. Like Stakataka, its homeworld stays unseen.
In the anime
Ash and his classmates first see it at a fireworks show. The next day, as Ultra Guardians, they capture it with Xurkitree after their showdown.
Name origin
Its look suggests an evil clown. The name Blacephalon blends blast and encephalon; the detachable spark head echoes fireworks, the nukekubi, and the dullahan.
