Courageous, it can leap over a thirty-story building and cloak its strikes in flame. It evolves from Combusken.

Harrison's Blaziken beats Ash's Charizard in the Silver Conference quarterfinals, then is too exhausted for the semifinals.
Name origin
Ken Sugimori designed it among the first Hoenn Pokémon, drawing on the chicken and Muay Thai. Blaziken may combine blaze and chicken.
Did you know?
