Its story
Lifestyle
Running through grasslands trains legs of equal speed and power. It fires up to ten kicks a second, and its inner flame grows stronger in battle. It evolves from Torchic into Blaziken.
In the anime
May's Torchic became a Combusken, then a Blaziken. In Slateport, another saved a Wailord and stayed on as Nurse Joy's Center guard.
Name origin
Combusken may blend combustion and chicken. It suggests a fighting cock and the basan, a fire-breathing chicken of Japanese folklore.
