Carnivine is a green plant like a Venus flytrap, with a yellow spotted stem. Its mouth has spiky teeth, red and green vines hang below, and its leafy arms have three fingers.

Lifestyle
Very gluttonous and unruly, it hangs from branches in forests and marshes. Its mouth draws prey with sweet saliva, then chomps shut.
In the anime
James retrieves his from an old mansion in Sinnoh. He leaves it with Team Rocket when he heads to Unova, then gets it back later.
Name origin
It is based on the Venus flytrap. Carnivine may combine carnivore and vine.
