Appearance
Crustle is an orange Pokémon, part insect and part crustacean. Its huge hard shell looks like a cut block of layered sediment. Pincer tips and six feet are dark gray, and its eyes are yellow.

Lifestyle
Its legs carry heavy rocks for a long time across dry land, and it will not come out in the rain. It fights over territory and evolves from Dwebble.
In the anime
Cilan's Dwebble becomes Crustle against Team Rocket. At the Vertress Conference, Ultimo's Crustle loses to Virgil's Vaporeon.
Name origin
Based on the hermit crab, its shell suggests strata and ornate shells. Crustle may blend crust, crustacean, crab, and castle.

- A broken shell means defeat, and afterward it grows weaker and less sure of itself.
- Its thick claws can crack even Rhyperior's tough carapace.
