The Cerulean Gym’s Seel evolves into Dewgong. Pryce’s beats Ash’s Phanpy, then loses to Cyndaquil.
Name origin
It suggests harp seal pups, belugas, narwhals, and walruses. Dewgong combines dew and dugong.

- By day it sleeps on bitter ice or under shallow water.
