Lifestyle
A master of iaijutsu, it draws, strikes, and sheathes in a blink, and leads its group with strict authority. It evolves from Dewott; in Hisui, a rare unfair form gains the Dark type.

Cameron's female Samurott beats Marlon's Mantine and Bianca's Escavalier, then falls to Emboar. Against Ash, it beats Pignite but loses to Pikachu.
Name origin
Yusuke Ohmura moved from a sea otter to an armored sea lion, inspired by Ikebukuro's aquarium. Samurott joins samurai and otter; the line reaches the samurai commander.
