Its story
Lifestyle
Each head has its own personality: sorrow, anger, or joy. Three hearts and three lungs give it more stamina than Doduo, though it runs more slowly. It evolves from Doduo.
In the anime
Dario enters one in a big Pokémon race. Ash beats it while riding Lara Laramie's Ponyta, which later evolves into Rapidash.
Name origin
Despite its name, it suggests the ostrich, moa, emu, kiwi, and cassowary. Dodrio joins dodo and trio; its heads recall Buddhist demigods.
