Appearance
Dunsparce is a yellow snake-like Pokémon with an insect look, blue belly, and blue-and-cream striped back. Its eyes stay shut, two tiny white wings sit on its back, and its tail is a drill.

Its story
Lifestyle
When spotted, it flees by boring into the ground with its tail. It lives underground in maze-like nests and evolves into Dudunsparce.
In the anime
Every child in one town owns one except Bucky, who asks Ash for help and finally catches one. Later Ash tries to catch one, but it escapes twice.
Name origin
Hironobu Yoshida designed it after the Tsuchinoko, a fabled Japanese bee snake. The name may join dun, a dull sandy brown or a young mayfly, with sparse, for its rarity.
