Its story
Lifestyle
It evolves from Electabuzz and is Elekid's final form. It is said to have the greatest electrical output of any Electric-type; gripping its tails electrifies its punches.
In the anime
It debuts under Gary Oak, who battles Ash's Pikachu with it. Paul's Electabuzz becomes an Electivire and develops a strong rivalry with Ash's Infernape.
Name origin
Its look suggests an oni, a horned ogre sometimes linked to thunder, a Namahage or a yeti, and also an electric motor. Electivire may combine electricity with wire.
