Its story
Lifestyle
It drives its spikes into mossy caves to draw minerals and, when threatened, fires thorns then rolls away. It evolves into Ferrothorn.
In the anime
Professor Malveaux studies Ferroseed using electric stones. The experiment slips out of control and moss spreads through the institute.
Name origin
It is based on seeds that cling to clothing, such as cockleburs or burdock, and may suggest a mace. Its name may blend ferrous with seed.
