Its story
Lifestyle
It lays electric threads near nests and can stun prey for three days and three nights. It fiercely protects Joltik and evolves from it.
In the anime
Colress calls it his star specimen. It faints under the waves, is forced to fight Pikachu and Axew, then is freed.
Name origin
Designed by Saya Tsuruta, it is based on a tarantula, and its webs resemble electric fences. Its name may combine galvanism and tarantula.
