Its story
Lifestyle
It hangs from cave ceilings and draws nutrients from the rocks. It fires spikes harder than steel, strong enough to smash boulders, and evolves from Ferroseed.
In the anime
Rose sends it out with his Copperajah against Ash's Pikachu and Riolu, and it is defeated.
Name origin
The design suggests a durian, seeds that cling to clothes, or Tribulus, a name that also means caltrops. Ferrothorn may blend ferrous, iron-bearing, with thorn.
