Appearance
Fletchinder is an orange-and-black bird with a sharp beak and yellow mask-like markings around its eyes. Its black wings are yellow at the tips, and its long black tail looks like arrow fletching.

Its story
Lifestyle
A flame sac in its belly lets it fly faster as that fire heats up. It sets tall grass alight, cooks the Bug Pokémon it catches, and evolves from Fletchling into Talonflame.
In the anime
Ash's Fletchling became a Fletchinder, then a Talonflame. Earlier, Nico's Fletchinder defeated Farrell's Dusknoir at the Battle Chateau.
Name origin
Its look crosses a Japanese robin with a waxwing, and its Fire type may nod to the flame robin. Fletchinder may blend fletching with tinder or cinder.
