Its story
Lifestyle
It hunts other birds in a dive, up to 310 miles per hour, kicking them, then gripping them. While soaring, it sheds embers to intimidate. It evolves from Fletchinder, as the final form of Fletchling.
In the anime
Ash's Fletchinder becomes Talonflame while protecting Ash and his friends from a Moltres.
Name origin
Talonflame joins talon and flame. It suggests the peregrine falcon; the Fire type echoes raptors that start fires, and the tail points to an arrow.
