Lifestyle
Nocturnal and found in caves, it sucks blood through hollow fangs and may grow too heavy to fly. It evolves from Zubat into Crobat.

Koga's Golbat loses to Ash's Charmander. Brock's evolves from his Zubat, then becomes a Crobat.
Name origin
It is based on the vampire bat. Golbat may blend gore, ghoul, or gulp with bat.
