Its story
Lifestyle
Its stick, a forest branch charged by its body, makes grass grow and faded plants recover when drummed. Full of curiosity, it loves heights and rhythm, then evolves into Thwackey and Rillaboom.
In the anime
Goh's Grookey came from the Rocket Prize Master, bonded with Goh, and left Team Rocket to join his team.
Name origin
Grookey blends groove and monkey, and perhaps rookie. It resembles a monkey or a caveman, and its stick is like a drumstick: macaques drum to show dominance.
