Evolution hardens its still-flexible body: by spinning its heavy arms, it throws the strongest punches. A strong Meltan evolves by absorbing its group.

Ash's Melmetal debuted when his Meltan fused with the others the night before the Manalo Conference finals.
Name origin
Melmetal joins melt and metal. Nuts, an electric wire and liquid metals like gallium or mercury shape its body, and its Gigantamax form recalls the Cyclops or Balor.
