It hides in jungles and leaps from branch to branch. It evolves from Treecko, then into Sceptile.
In the anime
Ash's Grovyle comes from his Treecko, then becomes Sceptile. Another steals a Time Gear in a special.
Name origin
It recalls the leaf-tailed gecko and a small feathered dinosaur. Grovyle may blend grove, reptile, and vine or ivy.
