Its story
Lifestyle
It waits on a prey's path, then pounces, and falls asleep where it stands at sunset. It evolves from Yungoos and was brought to Alola to control Rattata.
In the anime
A Totem Gumshoos lost to Ash's Pikachu and gave him a Normalium Z. Officer Jenny of Melemele Island also has one.
Name origin
Gumshoos is based on a mongoose or honey badger dressed as a detective. Its name blends gumshoe, a private detective, and mongoose.
