Appearance
Yungoos is long and stocky, like a mongoose: brown fur with a yellow stripe, short rounded ears, a pink nose, pointed teeth, and a flat tail with longer fur at the tip.

Lifestyle
Always hungry, it grows fiercer as its appetite does. Imported to Alola, it stalks until it collapses, prefers fresh prey, and evolves into Gumshoos.

Zipp's Yungoos face Ash's Pikachu and quickly lose to Kiawe's Turtonator.
Name origin
It follows the small Indian mongoose, brought to Hawaii to curb rats. Yungoos blends young or yankī with mongoose.

- Much of its body is stomach, so it digests quickly, and its teeth crush the hardest objects.
