Its legs stretch like a spring: it controls its ligaments, extends its kicks, and hardens its sole like diamond. Rare, it lives in cities and evolves from Tyrogue.

Team Rocket steals one from Giant for the P1 Grand Prix: it beats Brock's Geodude, cheats against Anthony's Hitmonchan, then loses fairly to Ash's Primeape.
Name origin
Hitmonlee honors Bruce Lee and may blend hit and monster. It personifies kicking arts and recalls kickboxer Tadashi Sawamura.
