Appearance
Lunatone is a cream-colored rock Pokémon shaped like a crescent moon. A beak-like point rises in the middle, and its deep-set red eyes can freeze with fear or induce sleep.

Lifestyle
It lives in caves and becomes truly active only under a full moon. The moon raises its power, its health follows the lunar phases, and it does not evolve.

The Pokémon Mystery Club chases it, hoping to catch a Pokémon from beyond Earth. Liza’s, beside Tate’s Solrock, falls to Ash’s Thunder Armor.
Name origin
The design suggests a crescent moon, a meteorite, and perhaps the face imagined in the Moon. The name may join lunar and stone.
