Its claws can release one million volts. In groups, Luxio join their tails for strong electricity and share their hunts. It comes from Shinx and evolves into Luxray.
In the anime
Clemont catches a Luxio that was once the Shinx he befriended as a boy. Another helps a Wailmer stuck in the sewers reach the ocean.
Name origin
Luxio may combine lux, Latin for light, and leo, Latin for lion. It suggests the sphinx and a young lion.
