It appears when a Magneton evolves near a special magnetic field. It floats, can lift people, and tracks intruders with a radar. Rare, it is often mistaken for a UFO.
In the anime
In the film, Zero's Magnezone stays loyal and leads his Magnemite and Magneton army. A wild one fights a Metagross nonstop, and the duel spills into town.
Name origin
Its look suggests a fused Magneton shaped like a saucer. Magnezone may blend magnetic zone with Magneton. Jibacoil may join magnetic field and coil.
