Appearance

Its story
Lifestyle
It corrodes metals to make its electricity, and its arms stretch at will. A strong Meltan evolves into Melmetal by absorbing its group.
In the anime
On Melemele Island, Rowlet helps Meltan recover its nut, then Ash catches it. Others merge with his before the Manalo Conference finals.
Name origin
Made for Let's Go, it is based on a nut and gallium, its tail on an exposed wire. Meltan may come from to melt plus tantalum or the suffix -tan.
