Its story
Lifestyle
It lives in dark, damp jungles but moves each night so plants are not stripped of nutrients. When threatened, it scatters spores whose light makes others sleepy. It evolves into Shiinotic.
In the anime
Several Morelull appear and then evolve into Shiinotic. One drained energy from Ash and his classmates to keep a tree alive. Goh catches one in Glimwood Tangle.
Name origin
It may draw on glowing mushrooms, a nightlight, and fairy rings for its Fairy type. Morelull may combine morel and lull.
