Appearance
Nidorina is a four-legged mammal, sky blue with dark blue patches and red eyes. It has large spiny ears, two pointed upper teeth, three claws on each paw, and a short tail.

Its story
Lifestyle
Gentle, it draws in its spikes and chews food into a paste for its young. It avoids fighting and dens in hot savannas. Entirely female, it comes from Nidoran♀ and evolves into Nidoqueen.
In the anime
Maria, Emily's Nidorina, evolved after kissing Tony, Ralph's Nidoran♂. At Goldenrod, Whitney's Nidorina lost quickly to Ash's Cyndaquil.
Name origin
Its looks blend rabbit, porcupine, and rhinoceros. The rabbit-like profile and the Moon Stone recall the Moon rabbit. The name joins needle, rhinoceros, and the feminine suffix -a.
Did you know?
- With Nidoqueen, it can no longer breed, even though Nidoran♀ can.
