Its story
Lifestyle
Each grain of its body has its own will. Evolving from Sandygast, it curses people into building it up, then swallows small Pokémon and drains them to the bone.
In the anime
It evolved from a Sandygast that lost its shovel, then trapped Ash and Litten inside its body.
Name origin
Palossand blends palace, loss, and sand, a pun on pile of sand. It is a haunted sand castle, and it catches prey like quicksand.
