Appearance
Porygon is a wholly artificial pink Pokémon with a geometric head, a blue beak, and hexagonal eyes. Its feet are triangular prisms and its tail a rectangular prism.

It turns into data and travels through cyberspace. It is the only line that evolves by trading twice: into Porygon2 with an Upgrade, then into Porygon-Z.
In the anime
In its only major role, Team Rocket steals one of Dr. Akihabara's Porygon and Ash borrows the other. Banned after 685 viewers fell ill, the episode never aired again.
Name origin
Its body suggests a bird drawn in polygons. The name comes from ポリゴン porigon, the Japanese rendering of polygon.
