Appearance
Pumpkaboo is a ghostly pinkish pumpkin whose size varies a lot. A black body with yellow eyes and fangs rises from the fruit on two short legs.

Its story
Lifestyle
At sundown it leads wandering spirits to the afterlife. Light from its holes can hypnotize or light the dark. It evolves into Gourgeist.
In the anime
Jessie catches a huge Pumpkaboo that comes out of the ground. A trade with Count Pumpka's prince later makes it evolve.
Name origin
It draws on Halloween jack-o'-lanterns and Stingy Jack, who wandered with a lantern. Pumpkaboo may blend pumpkin with boo.
