Appearance
Quagsire is a light-blue, bulky amphibian with almost no neck. Its mouth is wide, its eyes are tiny, and a dark fin runs along its thick tail.

Its story
Lifestyle
Carefree and slow, it protects Wooper. It waits with its mouth open for prey to wander in, and lives in clean freshwater and muddy swamps. It evolves from Wooper.
In the anime
Quagsire from Cherrygrove City steal round objects, including Ash's GS Ball, for their festival, then return them down a river.
Name origin
It looks like a giant salamander. The name Quagsire blends quagmire with sire, or with Siren, a salamander genus.
