Its story
Lifestyle
It hunts in water with its webbed feet and can gnaw even steel. It evolves from Rattata. In Alola, it commands Rattata and keeps its own territory.
In the anime
A Gentleman traded it for Ash's Butterfree on the sinking St. Anne, then Ash traded it back. An Alolan Totem Raticate later protected a Darkinium Z.
Name origin
Its look suggests a rat, with coypu-like feet. The name Raticate blends rat with eradicate or masticate.
