Its story
Lifestyle
It gnaws constantly to wear its teeth down, lives on plains and savannas, and evolves into Raticate. In Alola, now nocturnal, it lives in towns under a Raticate.
In the anime
It tries to steal food from Ash's bag, then hisses and runs off. In Alola, others protect a Darkinium Z alongside a Raticate.
Name origin
It is based on a rat or a mouse. The name Rattata may come from rat and attack.
