Lifestyle
Stronger than Rhydon despite a smaller brain, it fires rocks from its arms and lives high in the mountains. It is the final form of Rhyhorn, after Rhydon.
In the anime
Palmer owns one that defeats Ash's Grotle. At the Lumiose Conference, Remo's Rhyperior, Rhypo, falls to Alain's Charizard.
Name origin
Its look mixes a rhinoceros, kaiju, armored dinosaurs, and artillery, like a miner with a drill. Rhyperior may blend rhinoceros, rhyolite, hyperion, and superior.
Did you know?
- The upper horn is even shorter on a female.
- It sometimes loads a Geodude or a Roggenrola by mistake.
- Its carapace survives eruptions and a masterwork sword cannot scratch it.
