Appearance

Its story
Lifestyle
Nocturnal, it stores energy by day through photosynthesis. It glides in silence, then strikes with kicks. It evolves into Dartrix, then Decidueye.
In the anime
Ash caught one, naive and relaxed, at the species' debut. Later, he temporarily caught another while visiting a festival in Sinnoh.
Name origin
It is based on barn owls, close to the one introduced to Hawaii, the region behind Alola. The name Rowlet may blend root, round, or arrow with owlet.
