Its story
Lifestyle
It turns plant poison into black powder. On contact, the powder paralyzes, discourages bird Pokémon, and regulates its temperature for any climate. It evolves into Spewpa, then Vivillon.
In the anime
Ash and his friends rescue one from Dolan and his Diggersby; it evolves into Spewpa. Goh catches one in Shalour City, and it later returns.
Name origin
Scatterbug is based on a caterpillar, like carpet-moth or silk-moth larvae. Its name may combine scatter and bug, and possibly litterbug.
