Appearance
Spewpa is a small cocoon-like Pokémon, mostly hidden by sharp white fur dotted with red, black, and pale yellow square particles. Its large round gray head sticks out, with beige eyes and square black pupils.

Its story
Lifestyle
It bristles its fur or sprays poisonous black powder to ward off predators such as Rufflet. A nomad, it crosses fields and mountains while storing energy to evolve into Vivillon.
In the anime
Ash and Greninja save six Spewpa from a blizzard in the Winding Woods, then keep one from falling off a cliff. That moment helps them master the Ash-Greninja form.
Name origin
Spewpa recalls case-building moth larvae that leave the head exposed, and a silkworm cocoon. Its protective hairs echo stinging caterpillar hairs, and the name may combine spew and pupa.
