Appearance
Seaking is a mostly orange-and-white fish with pink lips, two small fangs, and a cream horn, shorter on females. Its paired tail fins look like butterfly wings.

Lifestyle
In autumn it climbs waterfalls and rivers. Males dance to be chosen, bore the nest into rock, and the pair defends it for a month. It evolves from Goldeen.

In a Gym battle, Juan's Seaking sends Pikachu's Electric attacks back, defeats Ash's Snorunt, then falls to Pikachu and Corphish.
Name origin
Seaking blends sea and king, with a play on seeking. It suggests the oranda goldfish and the sockeye salmon, which flushes red while climbing waterfalls.
