Its story
Lifestyle
It never sleeps and always moves, or it cools and may break apart. It seeks the heat of volcanoes, heals in magma, and evolves into Magcargo.
In the anime
A Slugma lives on the Brave Olivine. In the engine room, it burns coal that Carkol feeds into the furnace.
Name origin
It suggests a slug with a lava body, and perhaps the Cherufe, magma creatures of Chilean volcanoes. Slugma joins slug and magma.
