Lifestyle
It lives in the mountains. Its walk is a dizzy, confusing, scattering dance: it thinks it goes straight, bewilders foes, and is very hard to aim at.
In the anime
Ash and his friends help Claire find the Spinda with a heart on its forehead, which belongs to her fiancé Kain. Brock keeps picking up a Spinda with a broken heart.
Name origin
The name Spinda, the same in French and English, blends to spin and panda. Japanese Patcheel may come from patch, a piece of fabric, and hinekuru, to spin around.
