Alone it is weak, so it flocks in mountains and fields, though the birds start bickering. It evolves into Staravia, then Staraptor.

Ash catches one and often sends it to pop Team Rocket's balloon, until it evolves.
Name origin
It looks like a young white-cheeked starling. Starly may come from starling.
