Appearance
Sunflora has a green trunk, leafy arms, and a cream head ringed with yellow petals that grow more vivid in warmer weather. Its eyes look closed, each with a thin vertical line beside it.

Its story
Lifestyle
It turns sunlight into food, faces the sun and rushes while the light lasts, then stops and shuts its petals. Rare, it lives in temperate grassy meadows and evolves from Sunkern.
In the anime
Nando's Sunflora flees when he is accused of stealing the Adamant Orb, then proves his innocence by finding Team Rocket. It later helps him reach the Hearthome Contest semifinals.
Name origin
The design draws on the sunflower and its close tie to the sun. The name Sunflora blends sun, or sunflower, with flora.
