Swampert is bulky and cobalt blue, with a white belly and orange pads. Large black fan-like fins run from its eyes, and orange gills jut from its face.

Lifestyle
It swims faster than a jet ski, smashes boulders, and guards its beach nest when a storm nears. It is Mudkip's final form, after Marshtomp, and can Mega Evolve.
In the anime
Tommy's Marshtomp becomes Swampert, believes it was abandoned, abducts Ash, then reunites with him. Morrison's ties with Ash's Corphish.
Name origin
It suggests a mudpuppy or a mudskipper, and the series likens it to a swamp monster. Swampert may combine swamp with rampart, expert, or earth.
