Very gutsy, it faces powerful opponents without giving way. It mainly hunts Wurmple and evolves into Swellow.

Ash's Taillow is the first Pokémon he catches in Hoenn, leader of a flock. It evolves into Swellow during a PokéRinger final.
Name origin
It seems modeled on a swallow, especially the barn swallow. Taillow may blend tail and swallow.
