Lifestyle
Its shell shelters small Pokémon, sometimes for their whole lives. Usually still, it migrates in groups toward clean water; it follows Grotle.
In the anime
In the series, it is Paul's first partner. Ash's Grotle becomes a Torterra against Team Rocket.
Name origin
It suggests a snapping turtle, an ankylosaur, and the World Turtle. Torterra may combine tortoise and terra, Latin for earth.
